Half-pint jars make sweet sipping cups.I hate plastic cups.

Marisa changed my life with a tip she retained from her 12th grade biology class: remove Sharpie ink from any glass jar with a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol. (I also removed sharpie from one of my favourite shirts via a little rubbing alcohol soak, brilliant).

What better use for a flat of soon-to-be filled mason jars than cups for potluck or dinner party guests to inscribe with their name for the night. Now you can remember which glass is yours at your next party without a stack of tacky, red plastic on the scene. [Note: be sure to write on the jar before you fill it with ice and liquid fun or the condensation will make a mess of your efforts.]

I love chemistry and biology.
