The early season loquats are in here in Austin TX. Various trees around town are heavy with ripe, sweet fruit. My tree is a late-season bloomer, as our fruits are still green and small. It’s only a matter of time though and I’ll be in the thick of preserving them.

I’ve already called in the reinforcements to come harvest so I’m not staring down nearly 40lbs of ripe fruit! Check out all the things I did with them last year. Any suggestions for new projects this year?
