Gram's Proud of Me

I’m behind on my canning posts, but there’s no reason to delay you from the sweet taste of homemade success.

Just-made peach jam perfectly gelled across the bread I made last night. I talked for an hour with Gram on the phone; she is proud and exceedingly impressed that I made both of these things myself. (Her nickname is, after all, Bertha Burnham.)

Honey, have some jam (and tea while you're at it.) Honey, have some jam (and tea while you’re at it.)Dishes done, feet up, Jane Austen in hand. This is going to be a good week.

We have been enjoying our homemade peach jam too. And, you know, I can't think of anything better than tea-time with homemade jam on toast and Jane Austen. Good for you!

Love your gram's nickname.
