Stich’n’Mend Party

Our hostess and crafty seamstress, Briana, has a super-cute blog called Hire Me Martha, check her out! Yeah, that’s right, she’s been on Martha’s show.
aaaaand the scoop:
This party is for beginners, for pros who just want a little momentum from a group atmosphere, for anyone (dudes, this means YOU).
Bring your mending pile, your stash of cute fabric scraps or just yourself. Briana will show us how to make a cute, handkerchief apron (an apron made from 4-5 hankies or small scraps of fabric) or you can opt to fix that stack of things shoved in the back of your closet.
Partiers will have access to (and demonstrations/instructions for using) a sewing machine, all the utensils you’ll need for basic sewing and mending (needles, thread, etc), plus free wine and light snacks (made by me!)
COST: $10
