Food trends for 2013
Did you happen to catch this article in USA TODAY from earlier this week?
It seems like this isn’t news to anyone I know, but at least the mainstream will begin to get ‘hip’ to these great ideas! It’s good to know that “Veggies have become chic.”
What are your personal food trends for the upcoming year (you folks who were on top of these things in 2009)?

Over the past year, we have shunned restaurant food except for that which is prepared fresh from local producers. We are being more adventurous and the current stars of my cuisine are chard, kale, and greens of all kinds.
