Cubit's ethical seeds giveaway
Fall giveaways roll on as I’m still putting the finishing touches on edits to my kitchen book manuscript. It’s quiet around here in the kitchen and house project realm, but thankfully we have a great line up of fall prizes to fill the quiet spaces around these parts.
This week’s giveaway features a long-time internet (and a few-times in real life) friend. I’m so excited to offer up goods from Cubit’s Organic Living. I love the story about how they got started with their family business (here), where (for the next 5 days) you can also enter for another chance (or 6!) to win this great organic garden seed collection.
Their carrot pilfering dog, Hazel, is on the cover of the seed packets, the packets are hand folded, and their organic edibles are grown with love with help from this guy and this little lass. Love these folks!
Enter to win via the Rafflecopter widget below. Giveaway ends at 11:59pm on November 26. Good luck!

I am so ready to start being more self reliant and less reliant on commercialism.
What a great story for a seed company. The packaging is beautiful.
I've looked at this company before on Etsy, I'll have to take another look!
I want to grow peas next spring!! I had a tiny success with about 3 plants this year and want to have a huge row going next spring!!
Yay seeds! :)
Leeks! Leeks and leeks and leeks!
I want to grow pickling cucumbers. I love to make pickles.
Brussels sprout and rutabaga!
I bought from Cubits this year and regretted not planting more arugula or any broccoli at all. So those would be at the top of my list!
I'm ready to grow some golden beets next year!
More arugula, more radishes, more lettuces. To sum up, I want to grow more salad.
Seeds!
Hot peppers and cukes for pickling.
I have re-invigorated our fallow garden space, in preparation for a garden next spring! So far, the garlic is in, and mulched. In the spring, I'll definitely be putting in green beans (with a fence to deter pesky rabbits), kale, potatoes, herbs, and our corner-yard compost heap has been raked out to create a new bed that will host a pumpkin vine or two!
I grew up on a farm and was fortunate to garden every year. Would love a chance to plant again in my city. Thank you for the giveaway! :)
I am really excited about the garlic I planted at our community garden. And of course can't wait for heirloom tomatoes! And I want to try purple potatoes and a bunch more medicinal herbs. Oh! And hardy kiwi!! A magical thing here in new england.
I try to grow a wide variety of items. Next year, I'll be adding turnips!
I want to grow zucchini!!!
I don't have a lot of space to grow things here (if I won my mom would get most of the seeds), but I'd like to focus on herbs to make the most of the space I have.
I would love to grow cucumbers, greens, tomatoes, carrots and more. We always do tomatoes and peppers, and we have a lovely peach tree. I'd love to get more expansive again, it's been a busy couple years! I'd also like to have more herbs growing. Right now I just have basil in some pots.
Love their seeds!!!
We are moving to the country in January and look forward to starting an organic garden, we are very interested in heirloom varieties. Tomatoes, radishes, carrots, everything - raised beds to keep the chickens out :)
Anything that can grow in partial shade!
I would like to grow Watermelon, and tomatoes without blight. :p
I will plant tomatoes, carrots, peppers, potatoes, corn and maybe pumpkin
