Summer entertaining

Hosting a summer gathering doesn’t have to be a money-suck when it comes to beverages. Rather than setting out bottles of wine or spirits for people to freely pour, make a special drink for the party and place a little sign with instructions for guests to make that cocktail. Liquor consumption will go way down and your wallet will thank you.

My friends in Seattle offered up fabulous inspiration for this hip trick by serving up beer and this fun summer beverage to guests (and asked them in the invite to bring other bevs if they had their heart set on imbibing something else).

Check out this link round-up for summer bev ideas to try at your next gathering.
