What's on your kitchen counter?

I’m remembering to use my blog more for the things that have traditionally landed on the Facebook page. Not everyone in this blog’s fold is a Facebooker, and I’d hate for y’all to miss out on the fun.

So, what is on your counter right now?

Here’s mine. A fellow gardener in our cooperative garden makes the most beautiful flowers appear, including these ornamental pea flowers. They are utterly delightful in both looks and smell.

Also, cat. We lift him, we scold him, we spray him [repeat 400x] with our DIY all-purpose cleaner spraybottle (half vinegar/half water and a few drops of peppermint essential oil), because supposedly cats don’t love licking vinegar off themselves. Does he listen? Does he care?

You be the judge.

Hahah. The cat fits so perfectly in that little corner how could he not be there all the time? i understand, it would drive me crazy too! Right now my counterpart is very full...my inlaws have moved into our house for a few months as they relocate locally and look for a house. So our countertop has lots of foreign things to our countertops - home brewed tea, tons of bananas (yuck!), odd magazies, and sometimes lots of home cooked food when I come home from work. There are a lot of perks of them living with us that show up on our contertops!
