Coffee Sock Giveaway
I’m so excited to share one of my new household essentials with you all.
I remember being at a party a couple years ago and chatting with a lovely lady who told me she was about to start her own business to sell the hand-sewn organic coffee and tea filters she made. Fast forward to teaching my classes at TreeHouse in October, when I stumble upon this little gem and the solution to our dilemma du jour. We were out of filters for our (handmade, bartered!) pour-over. My friend launched her line and is prospering with these lovely and useful filters.
Enter coffee sock! I’ve used it every day for the past 2 months and enjoy it’s easy maintenance. The #4 filter fits our pour over nicely and most of the filters come two to a pack so you can rotate their use, or make two cups at a time! Check out the sizes and styles of filters in their shop here and see all the places local Austinites (or Whole Foods SW region area folks) can find Coffee Socks in shops here.
This would make an excellent gift for the coffee lover in your life. Corina has offered up 3 filters of any style and has generously offered to ship them anywhere in the world. Enter via the rafflecopter widget below, good luck!
Disclosure: I purchased my coffee sock; opinions and support for this product are my own. Coffee Sock Co. will cover the cost of shipping the three winners’ filters and is supplying these filters at no charge to me.

I like to make strong, flavorful coffee in the morning; if I won, I'd choose the basket filter. Thanks for the chance.
I just got back from Costa Rica, where the traditional coffee making method involves having the grounds in a small cloth bag which hangs from a frame - quite similar to this!
I'd choose the pour over!
I generally use a french press. I've been eying a Chemex and I think this would be perfect for that.
With lots of creamer. Probably the basket filter.
Cool! My husband has gotten all fancy with roasting beans in our garage, so we brew it strong!
Reusable filters are so much less wasteful than paper filters, even if you compost the paper filters!
I'd make tea instead. I'm a fan of loose-leaf tea and I tend to make a quart or so at a time. Currently I'm using some tall and narrow paper tea bags you load yourself, but I'd prefer a durable filter.
I love coffee. I use a traditional coffee maker, pour over and French press. I'm interested in a Chemex, so I'd choose cone.
Would love to try with my Chemex!
I have a Chemex and use it to make large batches. I goth rough so many filters and hate it baca use I consider myself green otherwise. I would like one that fits my Chemex
Strong coffee in the morning, no cream or sugar for me! I'd probably choose the pour over filter, although they all look lovely.
